Tip #5 - Concentrating on Playing 2 Hands at Once

1. Learn the Right Hand -

   This means master it. You should be able to play it without thinking about it, and hopefully have it memorized as well.

2. Learn the Left Hand -

   Same procedure, but pretend that there is no right hand to the song. Just focus on learning the notes of the left hand.

3. Putting them Together -
   Once you've mastered both hands, you can start playing them together.

Focusing on Playing 2 Hands at Once

• When you first start playing the song with both hands, play it at 1/2 speed.

• Usually the left hand of the song is pretty basic, so when you are putting the two hands together, don't spend a lot of your concentration twoards playing the left hand - it should be coming to you automatically.

• If you've trained yourself to be do the tip above, you should be able to focus most of your attention on playing the right hand.
